The Roedean Academy

The Roedean Academy

Empowering futures through academic excellence

Imagine a world where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background. The Roedean Academy is a beacon of hope for pupils at Barnato Park High School and Newgate College. We invite you to be part of this life-changing initiative.

The Roedean Academy offers a unique opportunity for students from our partner schools to thrive academically and personally, providing a structured tuition programme from Monday to Friday, with a focus on Mathematics, Physical Science, English, and IT. Each class, limited to a maximum of 20 students, offers individual attention and support, fostering an environment where every pupil can excel.

Our commitment to academic excellence goes beyond traditional methods. We integrate e-learning tools such as the Siyavula interactive Mathematics and Science programme, Mindset Learn and Khan Academy educational videos to enhance classroom teaching with innovative resources. Students also benefit from hands-on experience in our design and technology centre, equipping them with vital skills for the future.

Help us broaden the programme

We are eager to extend the Roedean Academy’s reach and deepen its impact. Our goal is to broaden the programme to include more under-resourced schools and expand our range of academic offerings.

To realise our vision, we require support in three crucial areas:

  • Ongoing, consistent funding – As we seek to extend the programme and enhance its impact, we are appealing for additional support. Every donation helps us move closer to our goal of impacting more students’ academic experience.
  • Essential equipment – To support our e-learning and remote learning initiatives, we need computers, iPads, and data. Your investment in these tools will provide students with the resources they need to succeed in a digital world.
  • Skilled educators –Expanding our academic offerings and subjects demands an investment in skilled educators. Additional funding will enable us to recruit and retain more teachers who can inspire and guide our students towards academic excellence.

You can make an impact.

By partnering with us, you are not just contributing to a programme, you are investing in the future of many young lives. Your support will help bridge the educational gap, providing opportunities and resources that empower students to dream bigger and achieve more.

Join us in our mission to transform education and create a brighter, more equitable future. Become a catalyst for change and empowerment by helping to ensure that every pupil at the Roedean Academy has the tools and support they need to succeed.
